<p>Four biostratigraphically significant new calcareous nannofossil species are described, &lt;i&gt;Biscutum davyi, Lotharingius contractus, Lotharingius velatus&lt;/i&gt; and &lt;i&gt;Retecapsa incompta,&lt;/i&gt; together with three new combinations.</p>
