On the ostracod genus Micrommatocythere Wilkinson, 1983
Abstract. In volume 2 of this journal it was suggested that Monoceratina saxonica Schmidt, 1954 may belong in the newly erected genus Micrommatocythere Wilkinson, 1983. M. saxonica, however, was previously assigned the type species of Saxellacythere Gründell & Kozur, 1971. The two genera are distinguished on muscle scar distribution.
